Equedu's founder grew up in Serbia, watching bright classmates miss the universities they belonged at while less prepared peers, better coached, landed at the schools everyone wanted. A decade later, the gap between them had less to do with ability than with who'd had the right help. Equedu started there. The first students came from the Balkans, applying to American universities.

Joined BlackRock in London as Vice President in 2024, where he led the company's first internally-approved AI financial model, then left in 2025 to focus on Equedu full-time. M.S. Finance from Brandeis, L.L.B. taught in Mandarin at Fudan, and a scholarship from the Chinese Bridge World Competition that started it all. Believes talent isn't the scarce resource — guidance is.
